Brazil
Brazil is one of the most significant coffee-producing countries in the world, given its history and climatic features. Two main types of coffee are grown here – arabica and robusta, each with its unique characteristics.
Arabica from highland regions. Arabica is the star of the Brazilian coffee scene. It thrives in the highland areas of the country, such as Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo. Brazilian Arabica is renowned for its gentle flavor and delicate notes, ranging from nutty sweetness to floral acidity.
This variety is well-suited for those who appreciate harmony and delicacy in their cup of coffee. It’s important to note that Brazil is one of the largest producers of arabica in the world. Robusta is for strength and energy. Robusta, grown in lowlands and tropical regions like Espirito Santo and Bahia, is characterized by a stronger flavor and aroma.
This type of Brazilian coffee is often chosen by enthusiasts who prefer a more robust brew. Robusta typically contains more caffeine, providing an extra kick of energy and character.
